Hey guys, recently got a VPN and whenever I turn it on, it seems to kick everyone out of the lobby and I then cant find anyone when I search for new lobbies. Is this happening to anyone else or just a personal problem?
Just bought GTA V from Epic Games. First, when I installed it, it had many issues such as Rockstar Launcher connectivity issues and stuff like that, I managed to fix it by using VPN. Now, there's this problem, can't seem to fix it. I've tried some stuff from YT but doesnt seem to work. What do I do?
My country blocks multiplayer playing in GTA online so I cant join my friend when we are both online, the only solution i found was to use a VPN, so i need a safe and good one just to run the game on it.

I'm from a country where Ican't access Casino features due to my country's stupid gambling laws. Everywhere I look I read about people bypassing this using VPNs but I also found a lot of mentions of people claiming they got banned for using VPN. I looked everywhere but I couldn't find any definitive answer. Even on this subreddit! Like every post talking about it has conflicting information in the comments. It seems like nobody can agree on this. I'm a PC player and I have 2 year subscription of Nord VPN so that's what I would be using. Can someone PLEASE give me any clear answer with any sort of evidence or personal experience to back it up? Is it safe?! If not, how risky it is and is there any way I can minimize the chance of getting my account suspended?
I was using Nord VPN for lower pings but now it seems that it doesn't work anymore because everytime I open up GTA with the VPN connected it shows that the servers are offline or something like that, can y'all suggest me a good alternative VPN for low pings. Thanks :D
Title basically, when i launch gta online, i get the "rockstar game services are unavaliable right now" and redirects me to story mode. Social club doesnt work either. Another thing i noticed is that some official rockstar sites wont load for me (eg. https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/rockstar-games-launcher ). The thing is, when i turn on my vpn, gta online works, social club also works, and the sites i mentioned load perfectly fine. I've been having this issue since yesterday. What do i do?

After getting ddosed while playing gta online, I tried using a VPN to hide my public ip. It kinda works but every public session I join, I am alone. And I can't play with my friends as either they are unable to invite me or I fail to join their session. This is on PC btw. Anyone know why this happens? Or a workaround? I use NortonVPN. Before anyone says using a VPN violates the EULA, please know that I have gone through it, and there is no way I am playing online without this layer of protection. Its either play with vpn or not play at all. So I don't give a fat rat's ass if R* decides me wanting to protect myself from their shitty system is me hacking. I don't change my location to the opposite end of the world or use it to open region locks. I like having internet in my house and would like to keep it that way thats all. In case you want to read my traumatic experience here it is. Be warned though its long and a bit of a rant. Tldr at the end :- A few months ago I encountered a modder in one of my public session games. They were killing my by shooting me even though they were on the other side of the map. I am a semi new player and I reacted to this cheater like I do in other games, by flaming hard. The next thing I know my public ip is being spammed in all chat and this psycho somehow finds out my first name (My wifi name at that time was name's wifi, which might be how he found out, or stalked me somewhere else, idk). Then they send me a text saying "have fun without internet jackass, and next time know you your place when you meet god". I then get kicked from the session and the internet in my house is down for about 45 mins while I figure out qhat happened. After resting my ip I look up this problem and apparently its common. Like wtf. I freaked the fuck out as my while house is hooked up to my internet and soneone capable can do anything from unlocking my front door to accessing all the cameras I have on devices hooked up to the network. I didnt play gta for like 4 months after that. Who would. Anyone with the tiniest bit of knowledge will know how much of a security loophole this is. Yes, there are other ways of finding someone's ip, but when someone does this elsewhere its mostly for adverts or such. In gta is a stranger who is mad at you and wants you to suffer in someway. Once they have your ip, unbeknownst to you, you are at the mercy of the resourses they have available to fuck you. They might kick you off the server, or slow your internet for 1 hour, or fucking turn off every light in your house and start playing Hey Joe on your alexa. I contacted my ISP and they said the ddosing someone might be a federal offense and took it very seriously in the beginning. However, the investigator assigned to my case very soon found out how common of an occurance this is, and basically changed his tone and told me there isnt much they could go. I would have to contact the local law enforcement. I have sent numerous emails and tried contacting R* to atleast get thier point of view and find out what they were doing to solve this. No reply. A few of my friends have picked up the game in the last few weeks and want me to give it another shot. But I WILL NOT open myself up to threats like this without having some form of protections in place. Tldr : Got ddosed. Got scared. Quit the game. Back because friends want me to. Looking for any way to protect my identity in game. If you're read this far I really appritiate you. I just wanted to put this out their as I wonder how this is not a bigger deal. And I would really appritiate it if you let me know how you all handle these problems. Again, I am a fairly new player and the only thing I know of is using a VPN, but that's not working to the ful extent.

So I am kinda new to online, was just chillin with a friend in a lobby and then this guy spawned enemys with miniguns on me, instantly killing me. After he did this around 5 times I decided to call him out on his modding (not my brightest move in hindsight). After that the guy went fully mental, and literally doxxed me in the ingame chat, called me racial slurs while he kept mentioning the small city I live in, the country I am from and threatened to leak my IP. I immeadiately left the lobby bc I was pretty scared tbh, then I couldn't log into gta online anymore, websites weren't loading anymore, until I changed my IP, so I am pretty sure he DDosed me too, although thats just speculation. So do I always have to play with a VPN from now on? The fact that he just spammed my hometown in a random video game chat and that he probably had my IP scared me shitless.

Everytime i try to play this game without vpn, it just doesn't work. The launcher launches in offline mode, and the game is offline only too. Without vpn i couldn't even download the launcher from the actual rockstar website. Is this the problem with them or my internet? PLEASE HELP
